The Movie

Ain’t no Mountain steep enough

A downhill race is steep, cold, bumpy, slick, icy, soft, narrow, incredibly fast and always challenging. Two minutes of skiing from top to bottom need a lot of heart, courage and self-confidence. On race day downhill skiers have to deliver top physical performances and great mental strength. Beaver Creek, Bormio, Wengen, Kitzbühel, St. Anton, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Saalbach-Hinterglemm are the iconic locations of our story, born of dreams and fears, respect, intense emotions and pure passion.

Ain’t No Mountain Steep Enough is a road movie that follows the main charismatic ladies and gentlemen one entire Downhill World Cup season. Starting at the World Cup final in Saalbach 2024 it shows the individual preparations in summer time and follows the chosen athletes to the climax at the end of the season, the 48th Alpine World Ski Championships in Saalbach-Hinterglemm 2025.
