Working as a producer and director was not foreseeable for Gerald Salmina when he was a professional windsurfer from 1989 to 1994. The magical light of his mountainous homeland and the beauty of the Pacific Ocean inspired Gerald to become a cameraman. Motivated by the spectacular scenery of the Alps, he became a specialist for worldwide mountain and ski productions. In the process, he not only learned how to film, but also how to direct, produce and tell stories.
